Who we are

Friend of the Devil Sober Co. was born from a simple idea: life can be just as rich, vibrant, and connected without alcohol and substances as it ever was with it, maybe even more.

My name is Devin, and I’ve been sober since March 13, 2022.

Sobriety didn’t start as some grand plan. Like a lot of people, I just reached a point where I knew something in my life needed to change. Alcohol had been a constant companion for years—woven into social life, music, celebrations, and even the quiet moments in between. But somewhere along the way, I realized that what once felt like freedom had started to feel like something else entirely.

Choosing sobriety felt uncertain at first. I wondered what life would look like without it. Would I still feel connected to the things I loved? Would concerts feel the same? Would the community still be there?

What I discovered was the opposite of what I feared.

The music was still there.
The community was still there.
The magic was still there.

In many ways, it was even stronger.

Music has always been one of the threads that connects my life together. Standing in a crowd, hearing a song that hits your soul just right, locking eyes with a stranger who feels it the same way you do—those moments don’t come from what’s in your cup. They come from being present.

Sobriety didn’t take those experiences away. It brought me closer to them.

Friend of the Devil Sober Co. exists for people who are discovering the same thing.

People who still love music, adventure, deep conversations, and long nights with friends—but who are choosing to live those moments with clarity. People who want connection that isn’t dependent on a drink in their hand. People who are curious about what life might feel like when you show up fully for it.

This isn’t about judgment, rules, or telling anyone how they should live.

It’s about community.

It’s about finding each other.

It’s about building spaces where people choosing sobriety can still feel the joy, freedom, and wild spirit that music and life offer.

Because the truth is, sobriety doesn’t mean the party is over.

It just means you finally remember the whole song.
